Does anyone know anything about the quality of Valero gas? I know they refine using mostly what thet call sour crude but their refineries are specically setup for this. I'm always leery of putting anything in my baby other than a name brand but $2.21 a gallon is a great price.
Valero is a large refiner of gasoline. You've probably been burning it already under some other brandname.
Valero stations are pretty common on the west coast - they seemed to be pushing into the retail business the last few years. Around here they took over a lot of Exxon stations.
They use "sour" crude because it's cheaper than "sweet". If they refine it properly, it should be OK, but if it has a lot of sulfur, it could create the dreaded gas guage failure problem.
