Deer Damage Pics
Going to take it to Jim Reed In Nashville. I sure hope they can make it look like new again! Headlight trashed, lower fascia, hood-large gap on passenger side, scratches. Have not opened hood, afaraid I won't be able to close it. Notice the deer hair on the headlight. Any recommendations / suggestions? How bad does this look?

Sorry to see this..could have been a lot worse, at least your ok. I hit a deer back in 87 with a 68 totaled it..

I was actually expecting it to look a lot worse. They will be able to repair it so it is as good as new. I had worse damage repaired on a '99 and it looked great after repair. Sorry it happened, though.

Man, sorry this happened to you. 
One night several years ago,
going down a 2 lane highway thru a wooded area, this BIG buck jumped
out in front of me. He was at a full run, his stride was so big he landed
about center hwy, pushed off and was gone. The experience shook me
up, I slowed down. If I'd hit him, it wouldn't have been pretty!
Ever since then, when going thru a wooded area I try to scan the tree line
for any signs of deer. You may too now!
Good luck with the repairs. Just take it to someone your trust!

Looks very minimal to me...I'm not sure if I'd even have the insurance company do it...
Front bumper is repairable, other than that, it's a simple realign and some paint work.
Of course, you might consider the possibility right now of upgrading to a TigerShark nose or a different hood if these mods are something you might ever want. It would save you on install labor and paint if you did it now...

I agree with the other's. You got off better than anyone I know of that's hit a deer. It's like hitting a brick wall when you hit them broadside. So I think you'll be as good as new in a few days.

I'm not trying to make light of your accident but you got off easy considering some of the damage I seen deer do to cars. A friend that I worked with car was a total lost after a deer tried to jump over his car and missed on the hwy. Luckly the deer did not come through the windshield but smashed it, the hood and caved in the roof. My friend was very lucky he could have been killed. Good luck with the repairs
