I did a search and couldn't find any information on this thing. It seems pretty cheap so I was thinking about getting it. It seems like it would be a no brainer to shield the engine heat off the filter. Does anyone use this and have good results to tell about?

I have seen these advertised but not too sure just how well they work. May be something like the Vortec Rammer if you have to cut the shroud.
