D**mn it, I cant believe I forgot to take out my super high performance hood seal out of my old car to put in my new one! I can just feel the horsepower leaking out.

I tried one (actually two) of those hood seals and just couldn't get it to stick properly to the front of the car.
I finally tossed it.
I might have one laying arond here, never used that you can have.
I'll look around and I'll let you know if I still have it. If I do, it's yours.

Do not drive the car until you put a seal back on. Dirt and water could get in there and ruin your engine. 
Just head down to the local hardware store and buy some automotive weatherstripping. Relatively cheap to get.

The funny thing is I was jsut going to ask the question if anyone thinks these seals are worth it or not.
Though everyone here is laughing and joking it seems that many have it. Hmmm are we all suckers or does it really work.
I guess I will go down to the local store and get some weather stripping and see if I notice the HP increase...

I added one as well, even though I knew the weight would be an issue. I feel so much more confident knowing the front wheels will stay glued to the road, thanks to my hood seal!

You should go by Home Depot and at least make a DIY seal. May not be as much HP as the $15 ones, but at least you won't leak any out. Once HP is leaked it's awfully hard to get it back without a tuner. You can see it laying all over the roads up here from cars without seals.
PLEASE tell us you at least got the Throttle Body By-Pass tube for the new one!!!!

Just installed the new HP Hood Seal.....damn the Horsepower gain is incredible....talk about SOTP Hp.....no one is catching me now....i might even cancel the Haltech now that i have the hood seal. This is the only mod one needs to make....forget headers and long tubes....keep your titanium exhaust.....I HAVE THE HOOD SEAL........~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
