Wheel Brush
I have CCWheels on my 99 FRC. They are the three piece chrome street wheels. Lots of places to polish.
I went to the local Target store and purchaced a small, round nylon brush in the auto section. This particular brush is the one with the soap resivour and is about 3 inches in diameter.
First, I cut the resivour off with my band saw and pulled out the little white plunger. Next, I drilled a 5/16 inch hole in the middle of the brush. Lastly, I inserted a fully threaded 5/16 bolt (4 inches in length) through the hole, from the bristle side, so that the the head of the boldt was on the bristle side of the brush and put a flat washer, lock washer and nut on the boldt to secure the brush to the boldt. The boldt will work as an arbor to insert into a cordless drill. This little device works perfectly for getting into the small recesses of the wheels. It brings a brilliant shine to the chrome and does not leave a scratch. At some furture time, I will borrow my daughter's digital camera and try to post a picture. Any questions, you can call me at 402-798-7244.
