...what a pleasure it is to drive with the top down. We've had beautiful weather here lately (low 80's, low humidity) so I've been driving the vert to work the last few days. It's nice to squeeze the go pedal every once in a while.
So this afternoon I get in the car to come home, fire her up, and :shocked: I hear this mean sounding C5... I turn around, and realize it's me... Open the door, and the passenger side cat back flange is in mid air . It appears the weld broke on the H pipe.
I'll be going under there to pull it off after the kids go to bed.
On the plus side, I got to listen to the exhaust on the way home

99C5Vert - haven't seen too many exhaust pipes breaking at the H-pipe area. Normally it seems it is as the flange that connects to the rear exhaust section. Good luck getting it off and repaired. Could be time for a nice X-pipe.
