Just bought new spark plug wires?

Just bought new spark plug wires?
They are MSD wires. They look a whole lot better than the stock ones. But I don't think the heat shields will fit them. Is that a concern? And I am not sure I want to put them for the trip to Bowling Green or put them on when I get back. I changed the plugs last weekend so I should probably put the wires on too. Any comments?

Always heard great comments about those wires. I know a LOT of folks here run them without issue. If you really are concerned anyway you could run a set of 1200 deg. F Fire Sleeves like I do. No problems at all with my headers and Taylor wires.

I put MSD wires on and though the plug boot is longer, the heat shields fit perfectly.
What makes you think they won't fit?

Well their on now and yes the shields do fit. Thanks for everyones replies. But I am going to look for the Fire Sleeves. They look good on there.
