Service needed soon! WTF???
My car has 29k miles on it. About 1,000 miles ago I changed the oil and had the local Chevy dealer do the 30k service. Oil is now showing 95% life left and I'm getting this silly message. What the hell am I supposed to be serviceing?

Don't know but I would guess that is just the computer telling you that you need to go in for your 30K mile service. The service department couldn't tell it not to come on, they can only turn it off once it comes on would be my guess.

That may be a code on the DIC that popped up...you may need to get the history code cleared. Dealer or a friend or ?? that can plug into your "thingy" under driver side dash. Hope that's all.
