A pleasant surprise...
I know it's not a big deal to everyone but tomorrow night I fly to Texas to pick up my '01 convertible. I sold my C4 yesterday and am completely stoked for the 1100 mile ride back in my new car.
Being on the excited and anxious side, I had my vin# run just to see what options are actually on the car. I wanted the white with tan top and leather. The only other things I wanted was chrome 5 star wheels and heads up.
A few cool things like dual ac zones, telescoping wheel, etc was included which was just frosting on the cake. The cool thing is the first mod I would have done was change gears. I was pleasantly surprised it had the G92 posi rearend with 3:15 gears. Though those are not the gears I would use if I were to start from scratch, they are definitely good enough to stay in there without me touching them.
I'm liking this more and more and haven't even gotten the car yet. Tomorrow night I'll be like a kid in a candy store.

Mark, Sounds like fun! I know that I couldn't sleep the night before picking up my Vette. Your luckier though. Yours is already broken in.
