How long do the seats in Vettes last? I have an '02 and with only 12K it seems like the driver's seat is not aging well either by cracks or by cushions....I use plenty of Meguiar's.........
If you don't sit on them they will last a lot longer.
Seriously though, they are notorious for not holding up. Regular leather treatment will certainly help them stay nice longer. I use Zymol leather treatment.
Mine is an '02 also and mine are hanging in there just fine. And I also use the Mequire's leather wipes. But they are notorious for not hanging in. Lots of guys here get new seat covers from Vetteessentials. A forum vendor. You can see their link on the left hand side of the page.
The previous owner of my old 2000 had installed some really expensive seat covers when he bought the car new. When I traded the car in last week I took off the covers to put on my new Z. The seats on the 52000 mile 2000 looked like brand new.
The seats in my 90 looked like new when I sold it in 1999 to get the Nassau Blue coupe. It had over 65,000 miles on it, the last time I saw the car. The current owner still used, what I use on all my leather seats, Lexol. My 99 seats looked as new wnen I sold it at 19,600 miles to buy the 2004 POS.

Unfortunately not as long as they should. I had a little over 18K on my stock seats when I switched over the the Vette Essentials ones. But, my stock seats still looked very good. I too put leather conditioner on at regular intervals. Maybe someone with a lot more miles on their car who still has the stock seats can give you a better idea of how they hold up.
