Engine Knock? I Need Help!
My wife's 2000 coupe seems to be pre-detonating and I don't know why. I thought it might be the gas (was 91 octane. Filled up with 93 octane didn't make a difference.) It doesn't do this under WOT only durring normal driving. Can anyone help out?

Mine had the same problem, it would ping when I would just touch the throttle so I get a decarb done and got my car retuned. (heads/cam). So I would try one/both of those.

You may want to try a can of BG44K fuel additive. It helps with the carbon problem plus cleans fuel gauge sending unit. A google search will help you find a local distributor - about $20 a can but well worth it!
