Default Here we go again!!!!

Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but I wanted to let everyone know I may not be on here for a while. We just finished cleaning up the yard and house from the effects of Hurricane Charley, now it appears we'll get a dirrect hit by Frances, a catagory 4, possibly 5. I live just south of Daytona Beach, and that seems to be the target area, at least at the moment. We'll probaby be heading out of here Friday, if it continues on it's current projected path. If she stays offshore (far enough) we may just ride it out. Now, all I have to do is find a safe place for my family and myself to go, probably head south, then turn around and come back when she's gone. Anybody have room for 2 Chevy pick-ups, a 2001 Impala and C5??? Also included are 1 large dog, 3 cats, 2 thorobred horses, and of course Cory, our pet mini donkey,, HAHAHA. See ya'll later..........

Jim

Our thoughts and prayers are with your FL folks! Being from AZ I have no concept of what it's like but my Sister and family survived Andrew.
Good Luck!

Take care Jim. Hope it works out well for you and yours.

I'd offer something in Jacksonville - but I don't know if we're much better off at the moment.

There are some horse ranches around here I could check on for you but without knowing its path - I don't know if that would help any.

Thanks Jim.... My wife just left with the horses.they're going further inland to a client of her's. Current track puts Frances south of us, so if we do have to leave,,,,it will be to the north,, Jax. ain't too bad...LOL. We're boarding up this evening...If it's far enough south we will ride 'er out!! All I know now is the satalite pics look really fooki-nugly. Tropical storm force winds I can stand...Charley blew everything away 3 weeks ago, trees included. When I saw Frances coming...I stopped barn roof repairs....finish after she leaves. Thanks again for everyone's concern and prayers....we may really them in the next few days. I just pray for those who will be in her direct path.
On a lighter note....it was great meeting everyone last Saturday!! Keep me posted on the track rental @ St. Aug. sounds like fun. We'll time to get to work.....

We'll be thinking of you. Take care. Please don't mess with this one. Cat 4s are deadly. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you up here.

I hear ya. For Hurricane Charley my girl and the dogs evac'd to her parents' place on the east coast of FL. NOW, it seems as if they're going to have to evac to OUR place for this hurricane only a few weeks later. Geez....Mother Nature is being a P.I.T.A. this year...lol.

Best of luck to everyone in the path of the storm. We'll all be sending our thoughts and prayers.

GOOD LUCK ! I`m a Port St. Lucie resident(at the moment anyway).Got the house all boarded up. I will more than likely leave tommorrow morning. Need to really see where this storm is going to hit, before leaving. I`ll probably go south toward the Keys( funny ...heading to the keys to ride out a storm). The vettes all tucked away in the garage under cover. All I can do now is hope for the best. Hope to be back soon ! Take care all my Florida East coast brothers.

Jim

I 95 has been locked up all the way here in JAX since this morning. Can you cut across the state to Tampa or even go South to Sarasota? You might miss it on on the back side. I haven't seen an accurate track for some time now so it's hard to say.
