Is this normal for a Z06

the side view mirrors shake when I close the door, I just want to make sure it's normal.

They also shake on the road and even worst when the music is loud!!!
I guess that comes with the plastic doors...

I don't think it is normal for the mirrors to shake. I had a 2000 coupe with 52000 miles, the mirrors didn't shake. They also do not shake on my 04 Z. I believe they are held on with springs. THe springs have been known to break and the mirror will dangle(dangle?) against the door. I would have it fixed.

yea, could you please elaborate more?

by shaking, do you mean violently? if mine does, i have yet to notice

i will pay attention tomorrow =)

right now, i would say it's not "normal"...at least nothing noticeable

When I shut either door, the mirror (glass portion) shakes, not the entire assembly.

But still the glass part vibrate with loud music and during driving. My Z06 is 2004 and I've had it only for two months...

No shake on mine. Corvettes are very individualistic and thoroughly unique. Some do things others don't and vice versa.

FWIW, I have neber noticed any shake on my '04 Z either, and I've had it on the track and have done a number of autocrosses.
