Not to beat a dead horse, but has anyone found a solution to this? Our 98 is one of the vehicles that won't accept the standard CLB. After installation you get the pull key, wait ten message. I'm thinking of ordering the A4 fix from our local dealer and trying to install it myself.
Our column has never locked up or given any codes except when I tried two different CLB's. I would like to find a fix before I get stranded.
