Wheel Widening...
Has anyone tried to widen there factory wheels? I know you can do it with steel. How about aluminum. I would like to retain the factory look but stuff some real meat under the rear.
Any help is appreciated.

why not just buy some aftermarket wheels which are a similar style?

A few forum members have widened an extra pair of rear wheels and put the stock sized rears on the front.
If you do this, and have OEM polished 2001+ wheels, and would like to get rid of the 17" fronts, I'd be interested in buying the front wheels.
