Fuel Rail Covers
What is the proper way to remove the fuel rail covers? Thanks Guys!

A good gentle pull upwards will remove them. Then on the driver side you need to sort bend the cover to get it by the fuel line

Removing is far easier than re-installing after you've had them painted.
I used electrical tape near the sections by the braided return lines. I
have a 98' too, so there are two.
Very carefully, allot of bending, but careful not to snap or warp them.
Patience is key.

Just grasp the covers by the edge and pull up - they will pop loose.

A key fact missing from the "just pull" statements above is "from the bottom." Basically the top part of the fuel rail cover pivots on the fuel rail, and the covers snap in at the bottom.
