Hurst Shift install...problem...
When I bought my car last week, the guy I purchased it from had a Hurst shifter he never installed (still in the box). I started to set it up for install, and when I went to install the soft outer springs I found that one of the soft innner springs is missing. I unscrewed the hex socket to only find an outer spring. Am I up the creek without a paddle (spring) here?? I want to match up the spring tension, and have a soft feel. Is it possible to order one soft inner spring?? Or set it up with the hard innners, and soft outsides on both sides?? Any help would be great. Thanks.
