Corsa Indy exhaust question???

Corsa Indy exhaust question???
Just got it installed last night and the sound is great. Question is the thing gurgles at idle like a boat with straight exhausts. Is this normal? It almost sounds like something is rattling inside there. Sound and looks are great though! I hope I don't get disowned from my neighborhood. It's loud!

The gurgle is typical... adding an X pipe will remove that... you will also notice a lot of popping on deceleration... thats a matter of taste... I didnt like all the popping I was getting .. after the xpipe install I lost the gurgle and 90% of the decel pop.

cool guys! I'm not sure if I like the popping or not. I will know after a couple of weeks of driving it. The sound is incredible though. So much better than the Corsa I had on my 99 Firebird. This thing is just sweet. I guess the sound is more refined on the vette because it's a true dual exhaust??

I just put a Dr.Gas X pipe on mine with the corsa indy. We took some short video if you would like to hear it, send me an email. In my case not only did the x pipe get rip of the gurgle and popping but it made normal driving quieter and WOT a higher pitch. Pretty cool!!

I bought the Xpipe direct from Dr. Gas, You can find them on the web. I measured it up, cut the H pipe out and then welded it in. Not to hard, but it did require four cuts and the weld in. I got it for $160.

I bet my new GHL bullets w/magnaflow X-Pipe can out gurgle your corsas I was torn between the Corsa Indy's with Tiger Shark tips and the GHL's with 4" quad tips, went with the GHL's, but they're both awesome, top shelf products. Enjoy them alot like I do and watch how bad your mpg become...
