Wheel torque is in the 2004 owner's manual on page 5-99.
I hope that GM does not figure out that few people take the time to read the owner's manual and quit printing them!

GM knows owners never read the manual. It's for the trial lawyers.

No joke, it's in the manual? I didn't think it would be, after reading "Here is how to insert the key in the ignition."
I'm buying the real book: the service manual.

Wheel nut torque is in the service manual too, but a little harder to find, under "Tires and Wheels".
I agree that usually if it is any more detailed than which oil filter to use, it is not in the owner's manual.
The first thing I do when I get a new car, is order the service manuals from Helm, Inc. from their website.

Get the manuals from Fichtner. I've never seen them cheaper anywhere else and I use them all the time
