Jim & Stuart - Just dropped my car off in OOH YEAH's garage.

For the next storm we should come up with a plan and all of us meet somewhere the cars (and we) would be safe, comfy, good roads to drive.

I know, let's all go to Sully's and drive HIS car!!!!!

Hey Jim...not going to need no stinkin generator around here I hope!

I know exactly where we SHOULD be...At the NCM for the birthday thingy. Good weather there I hear. These storms have really F'd things all up this year. I usually go to Carlisle, I'm from that area, Gettysburg, and have family & friends just minutes from the show. Charley messed those plans up this year. The NCM bash was of interest, but this hurricane thingy is getting out-of-hand. Now I see IVAN is just 5 days behind this one!!!! By the time we get back to normal (finish the barn roof repais/replacement from Charley and now Frances, clear the road, we live on a private road so we have to clear it ourselves and whatever else I have to deal with at work)... maybe huricane season will be over. Can't wait till the Eckler's fall show now... Again, take care all, be safe......

Jim

I think I'm missing a whole lot of communications going on here.

Now I do know where the Villages are but I'm just sitting here looking at canned Spam and bottled water, waiting for a storm on a perfectly sunny day, playing with my diecast models, minding my own business and now you guys have my name and significant others being brought up in a conversation.

What did I miss? And I can't run 'cause OOH YEAH has my car!!!

I too am sitting around killing some time waiting for Frances to unleash her furry. In the meantime I am working on hosting some vids. I will post links as soon as they finish uploading.

Godspeed to all in our area. I hope it weakens further before it gets here.

I will be looking forward to those vids... are these of your vette?
You have a beautiful vette and it sounds hot!
Maybe you should organize the next cruise-in?

...in fact, I just revamped my StuzVette Website from top to bottom to make way for all the changes in my vette over the past 3 or 4 months...
...God Bless you and yours...

We need to do another cruise after the cleanup for Frances is complete.

Finally got internet service back. Thanks for the thoughts Stuart, our prayers are with you and the rest of our extended family in the path of Frances. So far very strong rain bands and high winds with trees down on my block, 1 wedged between my roof and the side of my house although no apparent damage. We still have electric, outside looks like a war zone and they say we are not in the heavy part of the storm yet. Stay Safe my Florida friends the worst is yet to come.

Just a little This is my first Florida system. Coming from up north the worst we would get is a bit of snow. This i guess is the price we pay to live in paradise.
