Default Bilstein quick question...

For todays modding experience, I installed the front pair of Bilsteins with the Hotchkis bar. Rear is tomorrow. The instructions say to tighten the nut on top to I believe 20nm. My question is, would someone be able to tell me about how much of the threads should be sticking out above the nut on top of the shocks in front? Thanks for the help guys. Once again, I'd be lost without you. Darroch Malone
