Can Vette be driven while cluster is removed?

Can Vette be driven while cluster is removed?
I'm in the middle of a HUD install.
I've got the dash pad in the porch, the cluster in my basement and the radio on a garage shelf.
Can I start the car and drive it in this condition if a had to?
