Default Oil Pressure - Hypertech 3

I just installed a new K &N Air Intake System, MSD 8.5 mm Super Conductor, NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, 160 F Thermostat, and Hypertech. I set all my parameter to maximum performance on my Hypertech.

Now as I drive on the Express Highway between 70 - 85 mph, I notice the Oil Pressure is approximately 45 psi to 50. Is this oil pressure that I am reading correct? Is there something wrong with my 2003 Corvette? Before I installed the MSD 8.5 mm Super Conductor, 160 F Thermostat, and Hypertech. My Oil Pressure is around 35 to 40 psi on the Express Highway. Oh, I only run my car with 94 Octane. Thanks in advance for any help.

At similar speeds my oil pressure runs 55 psi. I have a K & N replacement filter with a Z06 lid. Stock exhaust. Mine is a '97, don't know if that makes a difference.

If your engine is running cooler at highway speeds, oil pressure should expected to be higher. Your indicated pressures are completely normal.
I would say the T-stat alone wouldn't account for that, but if you adjusted the fan turn-on speeds via the Hypertech, that would certianly explain it.
You should look closer and make sure your oil temp is still hitting at least 200 deg after a long drive. If it isn't, this (too cold operating temps) can cause problems as well (oil sludge/condensation). The 160 T-stat is ok in hot climates, but I would not suggest it in colder temps.

Thanks.......... I just want to make sure. I know that higher oil pressure, longer life on the engine. Just as long as it does not goes too high or valves will start to go bad.

Oh, I forgot to tell you all that I use Mobile 1 (5w30 synthetic) and Mobile 1 oil filter.
