All, found a 00 on the market that's absolute mint condition inside and outside. It has only 15K miles it's a Black on Black 6spd coup. I have down the price to 27K. What do you guys think about this deal? Is it a deal?

Seems a little high to me, but for that kind of mileage, you expect to pay a premium. I'd go for it.

Check NADA.com or some of the others. That will give you a point of measure.

Private party or dealer? I myself just picked up the exact same thing, a 2000 Black/Black fixed roof coupe with 15,280 miles. It still smelled new! Got it from a local dealer here in Wichita, KS for $26,000.

If it's from a private party, I'd say somewhere around $25,500-$26,000 is more reasonable. But you also gotta ask yourself, where else would you find a near-mint vette with that low miles for less than $27,000? I'm guessing they're probably few and far between, unless you're willing to travel to get one.

I think you are in the ball park - low miles, great condition and hopefully all the options you want. I know I wouldn't sell mine for that price. Good luck in your decision.

If this helps any, I paid $26k for my 2000 coupe 8 months ago. It was from a private seller in Florida, 26k miles. I have most of the options but it's not loaded out. It's an automatic. Good luck and if the deal feels right I'd say you're in the ballpark price-wise.

Go with your heart! If you think it's worth the $$ then buy it. It really doesn't matter what any of us think as we don't have to live with the decision, you do.
Good Luck and enjoy!

I looked for a black one for over 2 months. I think black C5's demand a higher price for some reason?
I just picked up my 00" coupe, loaded with every option except the F45 and the 12 cd changer. It's silver with 27k miles on it, picked it up for 23,750. I had to go out of state to find my beaut of a ride though.
I would pass on the deal you're looking at, it's on the high side. I bought mine from a dealer if that means anything. Good luck with your search. Take your time, summer is coming to an end, prices will start falling.

Sounds pretty fair to me..I looked at a loaded 00 coupe with 20k miles from an original owner..He wanted $26,500..I offered him $26k..He said he'd wait a few week before dropping the price..An out of state guy bough it. I ended up buying a 99 with 20k miles from the original owner for $23k...I say go for it!!
