Battery Tender Wires?
Buying a battery tender for the winter to store my baby. I don't have it yet but hope that the hood does not have to be open.Any suggestions from experts on where to place the wires?

Sorry. Second part of the question. What is the best or what is everyone using as far as battery tendors?

The battery tender will fit beside the battery. You can run an extension cord from under the car to the inside.

I purchased mine from Ecklers. It run about $50. Works fine during the cold months when you can't put it on the road because of the weather.

Get a VDC Electronics Battery Minder or a Deltran Battery
Tender Plus. You can leave either of these on indefinately
with no fear of battery damage.

I always use the cigar lighter plug. Works fine, no problems during 3 winters.

I place the tender unit on a rubber mat besides the car and then feed the wires with the clip through the engin compartment. That way I can keep the hood closed. I do this on both vettes all winter and it works good.
