[Z06] Z06 2002-2004 difference

Z06 2002-2004 difference
Is there anthing diffrent from 2002 to 2004 in a Z06? Engine exactly the same? 1/4 mile times the same? I have a 2001 vert and Im looking at Z06's are they realy much better driving than a regular C5? Does Z06 have tire pressure sensors?

I'll answer the easy question, no the Z doesn't have LTPS, but they can be added. I did for around $375. All you do is buy the sensors (about $210) and have your local Chevy dealer install and activate them. They should also re-balance the tires.
Here's the "how to" link - http://www.stopforce.com/RPO.html I had to provide my dealer with these instructions. They said they were 100% perfect and kept a copy for future use.
As far as differences between the 02 and 04 Z, they only majoe improvement I'm aware of is the shocks in 04. I replaced mine as well. Noticable improvement. Some folks claim the 03 and 04 LS6 received minor tweaks, but no can can prove it. Here's the most receient road test on a 04 Z - http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...es/0410htp_zo/
I sold a modded 99 MN6 coupe in preperation of buying a new Z51 C6. After seeing I'd take a step backwards in total performance and a $15K hit for the pleasure of it, I opted for a ultra low mile 2003 Z. I owe $30K and have over $5K in mods. The only thing faster or better handling than a Z06 will be the next Z06.
