You're not going to need quite as high an octane rating in Utah as you would on the coast. The air is thinner and thus your combustion pressure will be lower. The octane inhibiting won't be quite so necessary with the lower combustion pressure.

Mike,
Try about 35 miles south. Spanish fork has 93 octane at the mouth of the canyon, it's a chevron. Not worth the drive, but if you are ever down this way, it might be good to fill up with some 93.
Does the corvette require anything other than regular unleaded (87 octane)? What does the owners manual say?
Gasoline Octane
Use premium unleaded gasoline with a posted octane of
91 or higher for best performance. You may also use
middle grade or regular unleaded gasoline rated at
87 octane or higher, but your vehicle’s acceleration may
be slightly reduced. If the octane is less than 87, you
may get a heavy knocking noise when you drive. If this
occurs, use a gasoline rated at 87 octane or higher
as soon as possible. Otherwise, you might damage
your engine.

You're more likely to have problems with your fuel sender, depending on where you live and how much sulphur there happens to be in the "blend dujour" there. All these damned different blends around the country that also vary by the season (winter/summer).
I have run 91 octane ever since I got my Corvette. This weekend I was in Missouri and the gas station I was at had 93 instead of 91. To my astonishment the engine ran smoother at lower RPMs. Not that my engine ran rough before, but the difference was noticeable. I just filled back up with 91 and the engine is back to running like it used to so I'm pretty sure it was the octane that made the difference.
Now I'm trying to fin 93 octance in Wichita, KS. Anyone from around here know where to get it?
