Has anyone had any experience with Sneed or Grundy insurance companies. I talked with both at Carlisle and got some good prices for my two vettes.

I've got all three of mine with Grundy. No claims yet, but they seem to be straight forward, and reasonably priced. No mileage limitations either.

Get out of NY...I pay $540 a year for the Vette.

It's just like real estate...location is everything.

I was quoted $776 a year at Sneed and $523 a year at Grundy. I am currently paying $2205.74 a year at Allstate, that why I am checking, if the coverage is the same I will be switching.

I did, $1340 a year, just another high priced service because of living in NY....

When I was living in Hermosa Beach Ca, my insurance was $480 every 6 months on an '01 X5 4.4i and that was with State Farm! That was balanced out by the $900 a year it cost to register it... they get you one way or another....

Great price. Only $680/year for coverage here. Unfortunately, I only have one vehicle, (the vette). Just my luck.

(Plus, I would want higher than sthe tate minimums they provide. I've 100/300/100 now, and w/my wreck in Feb '03, state min's wouldn't have done me any good).

Your required to have a primary vehicle in addition to the one your insuring w/them. Can you get around it? Yes. However, I don't want to risk a denial because they found out I was driving to work in the Vette when I was in a wreck.

State Farm and GEICO have had better rates than Allstate the last few years.

SWITCH................ Man, that is the highest I have seen. You either have a lot of tickets, or got into many accidents in order to get this high of a rate. I said BYE BYE to Allsate back in 1997 and NEVER LOOK BACK. Best of luck to you. Let us know what you end up with and how much $$$$.

Check Hagerty also. When I was looking for collector car insurance for my C3 I found Hagerty had the best price and the least restrictions.

About $600 each per year for the 'vettes with AAA, registered as daily drivers, 15K miles per year.

Grundy. I also found them at Carlisle. Two vettes and no problems. No restrictions and $560 a year. Couldn't beat them and from New York.
