Default Towing Question

My 2000 MN6 had the dreaded column lock when I was at a gas station with the front wheels turned ~5% (or about 12:45hrs). I'm worried that I won't be able to have it loaded onto a flatbed because of that. Should I try or just have a regular tower pull it. And if so, what's the best way to pull it. I would thinks with the back wheels on the ground because of the lack of frontal clearance. Any suggestions? Try the flatbed first or I know a C3 owner with a regular tow truck. Back wheels on the ground or front? Please advise.

Do not let them tow your baby with any wheels on the ground, demand a flat bed truck with an experienced driver/operator.

Can they angle the truck so that when they load it the car loads straight or can they just drag it somehow with the wench (which would make offloading it a female dog).
