Thanks. I tried really hard to make sure they were wearing micro-fiber shorts before they leaned on my car, too. Unfortunately I didn't get very far with that line.
LOL... you should have tried again, with those women dangling around your car like that, you were probably misunderstood, what with your tounge hanging out of your mouth and drooling like that...
BTW... do they MAKE microfiber shorts/tops? Got some good ideas for the wife posing on the car...and cleaning... and buffing...
Your car looks great. Mine is pewter also. I'm sorry to say that local car shows are a lot of times a brother-in-law deal. You vote for me and I'll vote for you kinda deal. I have an exceptional, mildly customized F150. I entered a local show and there was 1 other truck in my class, an old Chevy S10 that wasn't even painted and had no mods other than suspension (my truck is detailed from the engine bay to the tailgate). We TIED for 1st place. Don't be dismayed, keep showing your car. People will gawk and say "WOW" at your car even if you don't get a trophy. Good luck at your next show.

I dunno if they make micro fiber shorts or not, but it sure seemed like a good idea to test them at the time.
I tried to be careful, too, and only drool on OOH YEAH's car next to me.
You know how it goes. You work for what seems like days to clean parts of your car not even a mechanic knows is there to get ready for the car show. Wax on - wax off. Q-Tip clean every nook and cranny.
Then for some reason - the JUDGE's car wins your class. Hmmmm
Trophy? You don't need no stinkin' trophy! You got the better "end" of the deal cajun - nice work. As for club shows and clubs in general, this is one of the reasons I stop joining them years ago.
From: Los Angeles I'm here for a good time, not a long time!
Looks to me like you got first prize, not the judge! Maybe they could come over and help you get ready for the next car show competition, and do a little "car washing" for you.
