Need help w/ my '99.
First I would like to introduce my self since this is my first post. My name is Tim, I have a '99 Torch red coupe. I have a couple problems with my car and was hoping someone could help me out with them. My park brake light comes on some times when accelerating or braking. It doesn't stay on just comes on for a few seconds then goes back out. Also sometimes the drivers door doesn't lock when I hit the buttom. Its moody it might work fine for a month or two and then stop for a while. And the last problem I have is that the outside coating on my top has started to come off. I have a strip about 4" wide that that starts at the front and goes all the way back that came off a little at a time. Has anyone every had any of these problems with there car? TIA

Wish I knew what to tell you to help you fix any of your issues. I'm sure others will probably chime in and help you out though.

Thanks for the replies.
I am considering stripping all of the UV coating off and laying carbon fiber on the top. Not sure if I want to go through the trouble though.

On my experience about the intermitent brake lights coming on is that the switch is loose or going bad. Just give a try to check it. Anyway, welcome and hope some else can chime in on the other issue.
