Default Vette Doctors very happy

I traded my 01 Z06 in on an 04 a4 z51 Vert. Some thought I was crazy to give up the performance, and in stock form it was a sacrifice on that level. On the comfort side it was far superior with better sound deadening (I can use my cell phone with the top down) with the A4 (Long Island Traffic) and the smoother, yet still precise z51 (yes it is less harsh than the Z06). Last week I had the Vette Doctors on Long Island install new GHL Bullet exhaust, Vararam and Dynotune the car. All I can say is with these changes, MY SOP Analysis, the car' s performance is easily equal to the 01 Z06 (I believe it might be better) and with the new exhaust it sounds better.

Thanks Vette Doctors for spending the time (not rushed), and for the professional service you provide. If you are anywhere near Long Island these are the guys to go to.

Glad to hear they did a great job. Your next mod should be a set of headers, hi flow cats and x pipe. That'll not only make those GHL's sing even better but you'll dyno in with as much or even more HP than a 405 hp Z06.

BTW, we're having a little cruise in LI on October 16th if your interested. Here's the thread from the Northeast section:

Considering the Z06 has a 3.42 rear, MN12 tranny, more HP, more TQ, & ~5% less drivetrain loss...matching that with just air intake & tune would be one hell of an accomplishment! But personally I most definitely prefer a convertible, and if you want to outperform your old Z06...it only takes $$$.
