Default HUD problem after Optima battery install

I just installed my Optima red top battery, replacing an AC Delco just to be safe. The physical install went well, and amazingly I didn't lose any settings inside the car (memory seat, radio, etc) other than the clock. But the heads up display shows the oil can symbol now. I checked the oil and I'm within the "operating range" on the dipstick. And the oil life is at 68%. It's been maybe 3k miles since I had the oil changed with Mobil 1.
Also, I've had the common gas guage issues, where the HUD or regular gas guage shows empty when it's not. But I haven't had these lately. Since the Optima install, the regular gas guage shows the correct gas level but the HUD shows below 1/2 tank.
Any ideas? Thanks.

I recently had an Optima Red Battery put in and I noticed that my HUD also defaulted to the oil level setting. I thought my mechanic might have accidentally hit the page button. I guess its the default setting on the HUD. I also didn't lose any settings except the clock was off a bit. As far as the gas gauge is concerned, I'd wait till it was nearly empty, put a bottle of techron in the tank, the next time you fill the tank completely and hopefully, the HUD gauge will resync with the regular guage.

You guys are awesome! I hit the "page" button and all is good. But I guess I need to add just a bit of oil...it consistantly was around halfway on the HUD. Thanks a lot!
