Not bad but if you use leather and with some sewing skill, it will look much better.
I plan to do the same for me since I have looked at a local person buying the hoop and cut the carpet opened which I don't like that at all.
JnJ,
All the aftermarket rollbars (those mounted behind the seat, not the racing type) are non-functional. But to answer your question - looks only, I just like the look and it's a little different than the vette setting next to me.
Guess they go in the same category as 405HP badges on non Z06's, painted engine cover pieces, etc.
MIKE76002,
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look at using the leather, this was just a prototype.

I think I would have spent the money and bought some.
if this is what you wanted to do at least go to a muffler shop and have them cut and bend you inch and a half at least it will look better and will still be cheap
To each his/her own, I don't like "looks like" mods. I don't like the fake badging, big wings, fake NOS setups, etc. Those things in my book fall under the "rice" heading. Painted engine covers are not a "Look like mod", it's not done to make it look like a different model. Again, to each his/her own, this is just my simple opinion.
