By installing a air filter like the Blackwing in my 04 coupe will this void my warranty in any way.
Typically it does not but that really depends on the $tealer you go to. Most $tealers do not care about the "Bolt On" mods. However, if something goes wrong and the possibility of the cause is the Bolt on...then you have a different situation. It will be up to the $tealer if they think it's the cause. Just treat them right when you go and they'll take care of you. Get to know the "Vette" Mechanic on a personal basis and you will be taken care of. You should be safe with the Blackwing.
In a nutshell...NO! Dealerships CANNOT void a warranty for the installation of any aftermarket part...only the manufacturer of the car can. It's a manufacturer's warranty, not a dealership warranty. If they attempt to do this, they have to PROVE that the aftermarket part was the cause of the problem. This is covered by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. If your dealership gives you any crap about the Blackwing (I have one on my 04 coupe) ask them if they know about the FEDERAL law concerning warranties. After they're done crapping their pants...you win!!! Do a Google search on the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and educate yourself about it!! Being an educated consumer is your best defense against these morons!!!

Realistically, no, it won't void the warranty. Mine has been on for about two years and I have had warranty work done with no questions. It does depend on the dealer though on how much hassle they give you over it.

All I can say is HA!!!
crap their pant LOL .... anything you can say to a dealership means nothing to them.. the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act has been around since 1975 and they void warranties on a daily basis.. ( refuse to work on them ) look for reasnse not to do warranty work... etc... the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is a paper tiger... GM has lawyers dedicated to this and they spend millions on the loop holes. Good Luck.
Sorry I have tears in my eyes from the laughter..
just do a search of the hundreds of people just here that have been turned down for warranty work.. IM one of them... am I going to chase GM up a flag pole??? NO.. I worked for them for 20 + years ... I could write several books on the stuff Ive seen...
