Paint Question
I previously owned 2 1996 Z28's that were white with the glass t-tops. They also had the piece that goes across that top(maybe the "b" pillar I guess) painted the black instead of the white. What do you think if I did the same thing with my 00 MY? I attached a pic of a similar car to point out what I a talking about. If someone could photoshop to what I am thinking about, that would be great. I have tried, but alas I suck at it.

Quite a while back on the forum some members did this to their cars. Haven't seen them for a while. Its not a mod I would do, but I guess on the right color car (maybe white), it would look OK. Good luck if you decide to do this. Let us see the pics - always interested in different mods that people do.

I liked it on the Z28's as it gave the upper part of the car a blacked out look when the windows are tinted. And with that piece painted body color, I think it breaks the overall look of the car up. I think I shoud be able to get some of that vinyl stuff they use to advertise on the cars, and stick it on there to get a good idea of what it will look like before actually painting it for good.
