Found the problem...THE PLUG WIRE!!!!

The car was misfiring and running like crap. Turns out the plug wire on the #4 cylinder was bad. It wasn't getting enough juice to the plug. From the outside the wire looked normal but the wire itself was bad inside. Just thought you guys would like to know about it. It is probably a fluke but on a 2002 with only 8K miles it should be noted.

Can anyone recommend the best plug wires to upgrade too????

Taylor Thundervolts. Big wires, run great. Might want to change plugs too while you are fooling around with this.

my C5 just started to misfire, hesitating when accelerating.
Any ideas???

I would make a new post.. The thread you replied to is 9yrs old. start with plugs and wires.. NGK or Delco OEM plugs and OEM/GMPP wires and go from there.. Also check for codes using the display in the dash, Google "How to check codes C5" and there are tons of sites telling you.. it should hopefully show a code... Missfire on Cyl # or a generic Misfire code.. hope that helps.. Also clean the MAF with some MAF cleaner.
