I have a K & N Air Intake System on my 2003 Corvette Coupe. The problem that I am getting is this. My K & N Air Intake System is "Rubbing" the underhood installation.
If any of you have the K & N Air Intake System. You are able to "Eliminate" this rubbing the underhood installation. I LOVE TO KNOW how you do it. I just replace the underhood installation (after 1000 miles of installing the K & N Air Intake System). I don't want to replace it again ($150). Thanks in advance....
Come on, there must be more people out there with this Stupid K & N Air Intake System. K & N knows about this source of problems. I just don't understand why they don't fix it, before market it and sale it.
K & N, your "DESIGN" is JUNK. And at the price of $368, come on. This is a BIG MARK UP. I love to India and China vendors start saling this. I would be very surprise if they (India and China vendors) sale this kind of “Air Intake System” for more than $30.

Not only that but some tests shows it doesn't filter very well:
I have installed the K&N dual snorkel system and a carbon fiber air duct connector. The system has a very snug fit, but it does not rub against the hood liner. I have ordered a custom hood liner from Paula here on the forum so I'm hoping that I'll have the same clearance. Not sure why your having problems. Some one on the forum will have the answer.
