hey guys,
I was wondering if anybody figure out a way to eliminate or to reduce the amount of brake residue that ends up on the side doors. Considering I have the torch red C5, the brake dust can be quite an annoyance. you people who own the black c5, you guys are in the clearance. Anybody have any tips or is this part of owning a speedy sports car? Thanks. And thanks for the tip on the fixing the run flats. it costed on 25 bucks.
GM ceramic brake pads will do the trick. Their sopping power is a bit less, but for non-track driving, they're more than adequate, and next to no dust.

Just to offer a little different solution, Eckler's has an insert that is supposed to eliminate brake dust from the wheels. It mounts on the inside of the wheels and is supposed to eliminate the spread of the dreadful dust. I think it looks hideous, but, to each his own.
