Unfortunately it is very cost prohibitive for many to have newer cars imported over there as the tax is like 150% of the value of the car. Also they are hit for cylinders and HP as well. I work with a lot of Norweigans and they have told me that my 2002 car would cost almost 100K over there!!!!

yup, im from Norway, we go there every summer for a few months, and car are extreamly expensive. My vette over there is worth several times what it is here!
I hear they are in the process of possibly lowering the taxes on cars and such, and also makeing adjustments to many of their tax laws.
Hopefully one day if i move there ill be able to buy cars there for somewhat a close price to what they cost here...

How will you be shipping the 2001 to Norway? I'll be shipping my 2000 to Finland in a few months, any advice would be very welcome...
And the last time I was in Norway I recall the gas prices were even higher than in Finland
so it may be 900 rwhp and close to $900/mile

We drove around in a 1972 Caddy Deville and it was around $130.00 to fill up the tank!
