Since LS1/6 have dry intake manifolds,i.e., no fuel flows thru them. I believe it makes good sense to install a catch can of some type to minimize the amount of oil that collects in the manifold. Regardless of how good or bad the designed PCV system may be. Just my $.02

I have an AMW installed great piece of equipment but no matter which one you use you need a catch can.

Could you please share if you've ever checked the outlet hose? I'm particularly interested in knowing if that hose stays completely oil-free. I'm using a DIY catch-can, and usually stick a q-tip in my outlet hose.

Thanks in advance for the reply.

Get a PCV catch can and a valve cover breather.
