Default Counted waves due to Vette...

Left the house on my way to to town and passed a kid riding his bicycle down the road. Looked in the rearview and he was standing up giving a big thumbs-up. Came to a red-light, and a 60ish year-young guy making the turn to my right looked down from his truck and gave the thumbs-up. Get to my destination point, and this girl comes up and says "How does someone your age afford a Vette?" etc. etc. She then held my doors open for me as I walked in. Some cars, huh?

Dont have a vette yet but My ta still gets some attention. Then again LTs,ory and a cutout will make a little noise. I always get groups of little kids running up to my car saying " WOW LOOK ITS A RACE CAR WOW'. It made me very happy happy when 2 days ago at autozone 2 little girls did that, I was thinking to myself, woa someone is raising those girls right. It's like all of them know not to touch it though, they will get real close to the car but never acually touch it. Atleast untill their parents get worried and they run over to get their kid.

P.S. i will have a vette soon.

Ok... Heres one for ya... Im driving down the road... I get in a dual left hand turn lane (there are 2 turn lanes).. Next to me is a silver z06. I look over, he looks over, I wave.... HE FREAKING JUST LOOKS STRAIGHT AHEAD. I was side by side with him at a light... He looked right at me... I waved, he just looked away. I rarely post on these topics, since I do get return waves about 80-90% of the time. But this is the worst non-wave I have ever gotten. Bah... Oh well.

We,ve been getting some REALLY big waves down here the last few months, from all the hurricanes...........Oh, THOSE type of waves... I usually get a wave from other vette owners, however, it seems it's always me who waves first...

Had the same thing happen to me yesterday! I parked next to a white vert in the parking lot just as the man and woman were getting in their car. They looked over, I waved and they just looked away. Go figure!!

hey i come from a long line of camaro z28s and finally TA's, always wanted a vette. Finally traded in TA and truck for new vette this year. Lets just say that sometimes i miss the truck (only a little bit), but the TA is barley even a memory for me. TAs are great cars, but once you step up to a vette you will never look back

yeah trust me you will have no regrets!

And let me correct myself because i DO have fond memories of my past cars like the TAs and Camaros, but i am making fond memories with my new Vette every single day.

I can't imagine a day without my baby.

WS6 was the way to go for the F cars, i still find it hard to believe they simply let them go away. They really could have used a new model for both of them, i wont be satisfied with a new camaro in 07 or whatever if it comes without a firebird twin.
