Just put a small divot on the outer edge of on of my polished aluminum 5 spoke rims. The size of it is about the width of my pinky finger and about 1mm deap. It is not too noticable to most people but it sticks out like a thore thumb in my eyes. Does anyone know of a filler or some other fix that would work for this repair, or am I going to have to buy a whole new rim? Please Advise!

Doesn't sound like you need a new wheel to me. There are lots of companies these days doing wheel repair and refinishing. Look in the yellow pages in your area or do a Google. They're usually a lot more reasonable than most people think. HTH

...I may not be so conciliatory...
I just purchase a replacement wheel for a minor abrassion that is so minor that it has passed the scrutiny of the last 2 custom shows in which I placed 1st...
...I know it is there!...
your wheel is reparable ...and replaceable
see I professional I did...
My first curb rash I sent the wheel back to CCW, curb rash gone. The
second time (on the other wheel) I decided I'd try someone local. Found a
place in the phone book, dropped it off and had the back the next day. I
had a small divot too, which I was barely able to discern after my 3rd time
looking for it around the wheel. The curb rash, would never have known it
had been there. Didn't have to remove the tire either.
Local repair worked great (and much cheaper than replacing the wheel)
for me!!
