Who from this Forum went to the Funfest in Effingham and parked in the Corvette Forum lot on Saturday, September 18? I was there and just curious who all went. It would have been very neat to see who I have talked to from this Forum.

Just got home from Funfest. (5 hr drive for me)

What a great turnout of forum members on Saturday!

I was parked on the front row of the forum area right next to the seminar tents...I'm pretty sure everyone saw it.

there were a few of us at the banner @ 3pm for the group photo, that was announced in the "National Events" section.

from my local area, there was HEB, MikeMercury , OhioGirl, 87 Ragtop.

It was great; but I think only about 20 to 25 people made it to the group photo shoot.

I was there. I parked in the other field with our club.
I got to meet Mike Mercury, Nuzz, Ohio Girl, 87Ragtop, HEB, 99Z51R, 1NastZ, and Y2kVertforme and a few others.
I also saw JohnnyVettes, his nephew, MQQN, and TrayC6.
I saw Tobasco's car but not him.
I was hoping to see TRIndy, but I don't think he made it.

I hope to see you all again next year!

We got home a couple of hours ago. We too were there. I see tom w/ yellow sharpie posted. I was a row behind him.
Bizaro was there too, as i'm sure he will post. It was a great time, perfect( WARM ) weather, and great crowds/ parties after the show. It was worth the drive to me. Last big fling of the year !!!!

I don't think I can do both Carlisle and the Funfest next year. Both are long drives, and too close (calendar wise) to each other.

The nice thing about this FunFest (my first ever) was meeting a lot of forum members I hadn't had the pleasure of meeting in the past.

I circled my vette in Brad's picture:

It was delicious too. Thanks Monte!

On a more serious note, for all that were there, if you have any feedback/suggestions about the forum parking at Funfest, please post it in this thread:

No, Thank you! Here we are running around 465 in Indy and WHAM the lead car hits a piece of tire debris and punctures a left front. 6spd89 is the ONLY one smart enough to have a tire repair kit - 20 minutes and back on the road. You saved the day! Keep in touch!
