could anyone tell me what they think about this system are they as good as what they say? how hard are they to put on? do they throw any trouble codes? can you feel any defferance when driveing it at low speeds? or is it all at top end, have a 004 vette convertable and was thinking about putting one one but wanted to get feedback from people that have the system. thanks burt
Installed mine over a year ago and am very happy. Installs in less than one day, a total bolt-on, could be back to stock in a day. No trouble codes. You can feel a differance right from the start, but thats true with any air intake you would put on, the stock air box is way to restrictive. The fit and finish could be a little better, but I have the older model, they came out with a new one this year and I do not know how much better it is.
I have the "latest and greatest" Vararam.....Filter is a little better than the original....I'm still going to use a K&N for street driving and the Vararam filter when its at the strip. There is a little bid more baffeling than original also. Its a good system IMHO.
We have seen GREAT results during dyno testing and tuning with the Vararam, especially with their newly redesigned VR-B2.

We recommend the Vararam to anyone that wants street and track performance without sacrificing driveability. No lean codes, no surging, no drawbacks. Just an awesome intake system that works on stock or modified engines.
