Homemade chassis plate works =)
Installed my "chassis plate" w/ Ivo (ivoz06) today. The plate is made out of 1/4" aluminum vs. the flimsy sheet metal stock unit. The C5 is allready super stiff, espcially the Z06, but after hearing many positive reveiws on here I decided to take the plunge.
Well it definately works, the chassis is stiffer and turn-in is noticeably improved. The car is more planted and was lots of fun playing on highway on-ramps this afternoon. Fun way to spend the day. Next up is 2004 Z06 shocks and T-1 swaybars.
Ivo made the plate himself out of 1/4" aluminum t-whatever 6 something.
