Seems adequate to keep the car from getting dusty. But I'm also concerned about scratching
Damn, looks like a great cover- If it wasn't "Eckler's" selling it, I'd buy one right now. Anyone know where I can pick up a similar one from a different vendor?
I have one of the Duralite car covers from Eckler’s. Honestly, it’s only good for indoor use, and it doesn’t even do a very good job at that. I bought mine because it was inexpensive, and I just needed something to keep the airborne dust and lint from the clothes dryer off of my car. For some reason the dust seems to go right through the cover. They say it’s made from a material they call “breathable polypropylene”. The material reminds me of those green paper shoe covers that surgeons wear in the operating room. I’d say spend your money on a better quality product and you’ll be much happier.
I have that cover and have had no problems with it at all. Have had it about 1 year now.I do use 2 people to put it on,it is just easier to do. And you cant beat the price.
I got a cotton cover from Pep Boys for $30. It is a generic cover so does not have mirror pockets. The good thing is that the cover can be washed and dryed in my appliances. It is only good for indoors but keeps the dust and the kitty tracks off the car.
