How Come??
Ok I know that the GM engineers needed to save something for the Z06 so they put a lesser exhaust on the Standard C5, but how come the C5s still come with very restricted air boxes?
Is this because changing the air box on its own doesn't really make sense until you change the exhaust so even if GM changed the box the intake air would not match the outtake air thus only a small benefit?
Or was it because someone outside could design a better one and we can keep all of the vendors in business (which by the way is ok, I would rather pay a vendor for a good part they specialize in then GM for their parts).
BTW I have installed the Stinger and in the winter will be installing GHLs.
