Hey guys, this sucks. I just found out that I have to drive to a different location for work tomorrow. I have to drop my Camry off at the dealer tonight so that means that I have to drive my Vette through deer country to get to work tomorrow. When I worked this location for 3 years prior, I hit too many deer and am dreading going to work tomorrow! Unfortunately calling off isn't an option! Wish me and the Vette luck in the morning and hopefully she'll return home in as good a shape as when I leave in the morning!
Good luck . They are a big problem where we live too. I've had some close calls driving in your area. Deer hunting should be madatory in Columbia Co. To get your drivers lic. renewed you should half to prove that you wacked one, (not with your car). Look out!

I live deep in the woods in deer country. I bought the Vette partially because I'd rather smack one in it as opposed to hitting one on a motorcycle. If this is the biggest worry of your day, you are living a blessed life my friend. Be glad that you can drive a Vette instead of a Camry tomorrow. You'll be fine.
I talked with a guy at our car show a few weeks back. In both front openings (where the fog lites are), a small black metal piece was mounted. It wasn't particularly noticable but I asked him what they were. Turns out he regularly drives in deer country too. These were electronic sound generators (like a dog whistle I assume) that caused deer to stay away. Said he's had no problems in years since he installed them. Sorry I can't be more specific but at least it's something you might look into.
Ok! I made to work and back yesterday and didn't whack any deer. I saw plenty, but she's back in the garage safe and sound. Back to the Camry daily driver. 125 hp compared to 350 is killing me
Hey, speaking of quality issues that are constantly raised...yes, we have some problems with our Vettes, but regardless of the brand you have to fix them. I have a 500 dollar bill for my Toyota. They all break. Enjoy your Vette and don't worry about the ocassional problem.
