I would want the stock wheels so I could at least sell either the ones on the car or the stock ones to get the price lower, since new C5s are being sold new at such good deals.
Just thoughts.

GM is now offering $7500 off with a few dealers offering another $1500 off and 72 month 0% finance

Convertable
Yellow/oak/oak 1SB F55 MXO UIS V49 msrp $55,945
This is out of the currant Maxie price inventory.
There have been fire sales on C5's the last 6 months.
I suspect your talking 10k off plus or minus to buy this
new convertable and perhaps 1k to ship or you could
pick it up and drive it home.

If you have personal knowledge of the gentleman selling the car, and believe his statements about the car not being raced/driven hard, that's worth something as well.
I don't know about where you're located, but here in Arizona, a purchase of a used car from a private party means no sales tax.
Let's look at the mods....
1. B&B Exhaust - about $900
2. Car cover - about $250 (max)
3. Ronal Full Chrome plus the tires - $4,000? (you would know!
)I make this out to be about $5K (maybe a little generous).
New 04 convertibles, assuming a 1SB optioned car, sticker for about $57K, plus the $5K in mods. That takes you to $62 plus tax, etc.
So $48 isn't a bad price for a fully optioned car, with some nice wheels and tires. It's not a great price either! I saw a car listed another web site with 170 miles and it's a Collector Edition for $45,900. If you want to PM me - I'll tell you where I saw it.

QUOTE] The only problem I have is that the $57K was really $46K for most buyers. You must start from that point, NOT MSRP!Also unless it is mag ride the MSRP was closer to $55K which translates to $44K.If that's the case, the original buyer is taking almost NO hit at all. Want to buy mine for what I paid for it plus my small mod costs? I love it but will sell it for that.

At any rate, I agree with the above...it's not a bad deal, but not particularly great either...if he needs to sell it, he'll likely have to go lower...
